I’m Passionate

My favorite part of any wedding is the love story. Seeing couples like you celebrate one of the best days of their life and embark on the next chapter of their lives fills my heart so full it could burst. Making your day great is truly my honor and passion.

I will advocate for you till the very end, dear couple. From getting you the best deal with vendors to mediating with meddlesome family members, I’ve got your back. When the inevitable mishap occurs, you can count on me to be there with flexibility, quick thinking under pressure and a level head.

This Is Me

I am a coffee-fueled, dance-obsessed, summertime-loving, big hair-rocking, hopeful romantic who can’t help but organize, plan and research anything and everything. It is in my nature to serve others and fight for what I believe in. Pay no attention if I tear up during your first dance, it happens every time.

When I saw The Wedding Planner movie for the first time I remember saying, “You can do that for a JOB?!?” My creative/type-A mind went wild that day. A few years later I went on to study hospitality and special event management in college, join numerous professional event associations and work for any wedding-related job I could get my hands on until word spread about my mad planning skills.

That’s when Love is Event Planning was born and I knew the true meaning of the old adage, “Find something you love to do and you’ll never work a day in your life.” My passion for each detail makes my events uniquely personalized and deeply meaningful to my clients. As a Colorado native and destination planner, my repertoire of experience includes diverse styles, personalities and cultures from all over the world, ensuring that your event will be anything but #basic.

We hired Sarah two weeks before our wedding to help put the finishing touches on our wedding. She didn’t waste any time at all! She got every piece of information that she needed and went right to work. She ended up being our point of contact for everyone. When our outdoor wedding turned indoors due to the weather, she handled the situation and had everything re-arranged PERFECTLY before I could finish saying, “we won’t wait, just bring it inside!” We received many compliments from our guests about how organized, professional and efficient she was. We happened to stumble across Sarah while visiting our venue and I’m so happy we did. Sarah was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. She thought of little details that didn’t even occur to us and worked through every aspect of the day with the various vendors. Our guests and family commented that they were so impressed and surprised that no one had to lift a finger. That was all because of Sarah! The caterer was late but Sarah stayed totally calm and put things right back on track. In addition to her overall knowledge and professionalism, Sarah is an incredibly sweet person and we really enjoyed spending time with her.

My daughter was a displaced bride with a destination wedding that was to be in Estes Park. We were so blessed to be introduced to Sarah and her services when we had to move the wedding (in a week) from Estes Park to another location due to the flooding.
